Description

The Mini Maths Mix Mania is a set of 15 activity sheets designed for Year 6-8. Each sheet comprises six questions that cover a diverse range of mathematical concepts and skills. It is available as a printable PDF version and also as a PowerPoint slideshow and digital Google slide version. Great to use as an independent maths activity, whole class discussion, maths warm-up or early finishers activity. 

Contents of each activity sheet:

  1. Number Problems: Two problems on each sheet, a multi-digit addition or subtraction activity and a multi-digit multiplication problem.
  2. “Would You Rather” Problem: Students evaluate whether a percentage discount or a fixed amount off is more beneficial on a sale item.
  3. Probability Problem: An introduction to probability, requiring calculations of the likelihood of various events.
  4. Word Problem: Short word problems.
  5. Target Number Challenge: A puzzle where students use arithmetic operations to get as close as possible to a set target number.
  6. Area Calculation: Tasks involving the measurement and calculation of the area of given objects.
