This is a mini Maths Escape Room with four clues on two pages. This makes it easy to print out and use – it is perfect to have on hand as a fun shorter maths activity. These Mini Maths Escape rooms are a great way to capture your students’ interest in maths.
Four maths clues are included, which your students will need to solve in order to escape the laboratory and save the world from being shrunk by the supervillain: The Shrinkinator!
Here is the scenario:
You are the world’s greatest superhero; however, you have been captured by the world’s greatest supervillain – The Shrinkinator! He has captured you and locked you in his specially-designed laboratory, where your superpowers won’t work! He also told you he has invented a shrinking device and was planning to shrink the entire world, just so he can hold it in the palm of his hand! Can you escape?
This activity involves multiplication, basic decimal multiplication, three-digit addition, order of operations and basic pre-algebra problems. This is a mini escape room so it shouldn’t take students too long to complete, great for when time is pressing but you want to fit a bit of fun maths in!
Also included is an extra early finishers activity: design a superhero.
