Description
These Maths Talk Moves Discussion Cards are for use with groups of students that work together on the mat during DMIC (Developing Mathematical Inquiry Communities). Encourage mathematical discussions and increase your students’ critical thinking and communication skills.
We have created four different sets so that you can choose the one that suits your students’ level (junior, senior or mixed).
The wording of the Talk Moves will remain the same throughout the student’s schooling.
The Talk Moves included are:

- I disagree with your answer because…
- Could you explain that in another way?
- How do you know your answer is right?
