Set off on an exciting New Zealand road trip adventure! This NZ School Journal Task Cards resource provides a fantastic entry point for reading New Zealand-themed School Journal articles, stories, and poems. We’ve selected 87 texts from a mix of Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 School Journals (2014-2022). 24 task cards are provided for students to select from. These activities will work across many of the texts, giving you and your students flexibility.
We include a full print and digital set. We recommend using the digital set with Google Slides or Microsoft One Drive.
We’ve provided an engaging hook to get your students’ imagination flowing – a road trip around New Zealand. Students read NZ School Journal stories, articles, and poems based on different towns, cities, and regions within Aotearoa. They choose task cards to complete, earning rewards to upgrade their own motorhome.
