Description

Introduce your students to symmetry with these fun symmetry pictures. There are over 30 pictures of differing difficulty levels to choose from, including houses, animals, aliens, and Māori patterns.

Included in this bundle are:

  • Basic symmetry images: Colour the image so both sides are the same (symmetrical). 
  • Symmetry pictures: Use your knowledge of symmetry to complete the picture. Pictures range from basic straight lines (houses etc) to more complex (aliens, Māori patterns etc). 
  • Create your own symmetrical pattern or image!

This activity also includes a short worksheet where students can practice drawing symmetrical shapes along different lines of symmetry (horizontal and vertical).
