With initial modelling and scaffolding, these activities are intended to be completed independently to build students’ skills in following instructions, fine motor skills and stamina to complete tasks.

Three practice activities:

  • Plural Suffix Sort: Students identify the word endings and sort into word lists.
  • Adding Endings: Students add the target letters to the end of words and illustrate selected words.
  • Word Find: Students find words using the target letters in the word find.
