Description

This is a PowerPoint maths game celebrating Matariki, the Māori New Year. It is great to use as a maths warm-up or just as a fun activity to review some maths skills. This game can be used as a whole class activity, a small group activity, or an individual activity if the students have their own devices.

How does this Matariki Maths PowerPoint Game work?

  • Students choose a mystery star from the home page. Each mystery star has its own maths question (20 in total).
  • If the student gets it right, they can earn points.
  • Break the class up into groups if you want to add a bit of fun competition.
  • A range of maths topics are covered so please check the download to make sure it’s suitable for your students.
