Why Top Teaching Tasks Members?
Kia ora!
Top Teaching Tasks has a simple beginning: a teacher creating resources to use with my own children at home. As those resources were made available online we soon realised that in-depth, trustworthy, and creative resources specific to (and inclusive of) all our New Zealand students were desperately needed.
We don’t create one page worksheets and call it a “resource”. Our activities are thorough, comprehensive, and unique.
As teachers, our plates are overflowing with day-to-day teaching, extra curricular activities, and time with our own families. Real talk: teachers simply don’t have time to research and create resources every single week.
As the need for high-quality resources increased, Top Teaching Tasks has grown from a family-owned business to include several local teachers collaborating on fun learning collections for our classrooms.
Our backgrounds are varied:
- full time teachers working during the holidays,
- part time teachers,
- retired teachers,
- and even some who contribute while on maternity leave!
But our mission is the same: to create relevant, interesting, curriculum-aligned activities on a wide range of topics and subjects for students from new entrants through to Year 8.
Our teachers depend on resources that they don’t need to spend days creating, hours scouring the internet, or having to check every page for accuracy.
There’s something to suit every level in your classroom. Available in print-out PDFs and online digital activities, so you have the freedom to teach in the way that suits you and your learners best.
That’s our team’s forever commitment to you!
Nāku iti noa,
nā Hinemoa
